Mango Jalepeño Margarita

Ingredients

  • 2 parts tequila
  • 1 part mango puree from ripe mangos or frozen chunks
  • .5 part fresh lime juice
  • .5 part triple sec
  • simple syrup to taste
  • fresh jalepeño slices
  • Tajin seasoning or salt

Instructions

  1. Prepare mango puree by blending ripe or frozen mango chunks until smooth.

  2. Optional salt rim: Rub lime wedge around rim of glass and dip into plate of salt or Tajin seasoning.

  3. In a shaker, combine blanco tequila, mango puree, lime juice, triple sec, simple syrup, and a few jalepeño slices with ice.

  4. Shake well until the mixture is chilled.

  5. Strain into the prepared glass and garnish with lime wedge and jalepeño slice.
