Mango Margarita

A tropical and sweet twist to the classic margarita.

Ingredients

  • 2 parts tequila
  • 1 part mango puree
  • .5 part fresh lime juice
  • .5 part triple sec
  • simple syrup to taste
  • ice
  • tajin or salt for rim

Instructions

  1. Blend ripe or frozen mango chunks until smooth and creamy.

  2. Optional salt or Tajin rim: Rub lime around rim of margarita glass and dip into plate of salt or Tajin.

  3. In a shaker, combine the tequila, mango puree, lime juice, triple sec, and simple syrup with ice.

  4. Shake well until the mixture is chilled.

  5. Strain into the prepared glass.

  6. Garnish with a lime wedge and mango slice (and little umbrella).
