Ingredients

  • 2 parts vodka
  • 1 whole lemon juice
  • .75 parts simple syrup

Instructions

  1. Rim the martini glass: Take a lemon wedge and run it along the rim of the martini glass. Dip the rim into a plate of superfine sugar, coating it evenly.

  2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

  3. Add 2 ounces of vodka to the shaker.

  4. Squeeze the juice of one whole lemon into the shaker.

  5. Add ¾ ounce of simple syrup.

  6. Shake vigorously for about 10-15 seconds to chill the cocktail and properly mix the ingredients.

  7. Strain the mixture into the rimmed martini glass.

  8. Garnish with a lemon twist by twisting the peel over the drink to release the oils.
