Snuff means two different products, and the difference matters more than the old version of this page let on.
In the US, when a can says snuff, it almost always means moist snuff, also called dip: finely cut, moistened smokeless tobacco used orally. That’s what Copenhagen and Grizzly sell. Nasal snuff, the dry powder inhaled through the nose, is the older European product, and it’s a niche import here. The old version of this page blended the two into one thing and then explained how to dose it. Both halves of that are gone: the definitions were wrong, and usage instructions for a tobacco product were never ours to publish.
What it does

Regular use also comes with the oral risks printed on every can: gum disease, tooth loss, and mouth cancer. The old page had a pros-and-cons section that listed “lower risk of some cancers” as a pro. That’s a comparative health claim, the kind that federal law reserves for products with a specific FDA authorization, and no product on this blog has one. The warning at the top of this page is the whole story: not a safe alternative to cigarettes, and smokeless isn’t a step down from anything.
