Touching briefly upon the history of this popular beer
Now this is a beer that holds a special place in my own personal history. It was the first thing I drank on the day I turned twenty one, legal drinking age in the USA. It’s also a beverage that I’ve seen in many home refrigerators, as well as bar taps.
But I’ve also known a decent number of people who have wondered the Blue Moon history as they sipped in their beers. After all, a beer like this that’s made to be enjoyed and not shotgunned; one will certainly think on it. So I’ve taken a bit of effort to put together a brief overview of the short, but sweet, Blue Moon history.
From day one
It all started with the vision of one man, named Keith Villa. He created the recipe with inspiration he gained from studying beer-making in Brussels. He was especially find of the Belgian white beer style, and so that became the foundation of his creation. Blue Moon history took a turn for the best when he decided to add citrus peel and coriander to the recipe. And what came from that, is the classic smooth beer with the citrus aftertaste that we all know and love today.
Now, I know what you might be thinking after hearing the Blue Moon history. “But hang on a second; citrus and coriander? This sounds an awful lot like Shock Top!” Well, you’re right; the two beers are very similar. These two brands are in direct competition with one another, as a result. But, there are loyal drinkers on either side. And if I might be so bold, I’ve seen Blue Moon in more homes than I have Shock Top. That’s not to say it doesn’t have it’s own crowd; it’s more of a night out sort of drink.

Unfortunately, you can only use this service if you’re 21 or over. Saucey is very careful about making sure we operate within the parameters of the law. ID checks are necessary for every single delivery. Your delivery person will use a scanner to check your driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID card. Your delivery will be given to you once your age has been verified via identification scan. Once that’s done, now you’re ready to drink your whiskey. And now that you know the Blue Moon History, you’ll appreciate it more!

If you happen to need a bartender as well as someone to deliver your order, then read on! If you go on over to our bartender’s page, you’ll find that we can easily help out with that. Once your order is placed, then we can have one ready for you. You will, of course, need to let us at Saucey know what the date and time of your event is. We also must have a head count for the number of guests you intend to have.
Your bartender(s) will arrive thirty minutes before your planned event in order to set things up. Saucey can provide up to six bartenders at any given time. They can make multiple different recipes for your occasion. And if you want, you can teach the Blue Moon History at your party!
Is there a delivery fee?
