This is what the holidays are REALLY about.
Of course we love our families, and Christmas and regular Thanksgiving are pretty alright. But Friendsgiving is special… your uncle isn’t there to implicate you as his political debate opponent against your will and if you want to play Slap the Bag before dinner, it’s completely acceptable.
However, if you’re looking to make this Friendsgiving one for the books we have a few Saucey approved punch bowl connections guaranteed to get you and your best buds looser than a goose this Friendsgiving, no bag slapping required.
#1. End Zone Punch
3 Cups Jack Daniels Honey
3 Cups Simply Orange Juice
6 Trays of Cranberry Juice Ice Cubes
1 tsp Cinnamon
2 Oranges, sliced into rounds.
Prepare 6 trays of frozen cranberry juice to use as ice, this will keep the punch from losing flavor. Shake cinnamon and 1 cup orange juice together until fully dissolved and combine all ingredients into punch bowl, garnish with orange slices.
#2. Apple Bottom Sangria
3 different types of apples, sliced (Granny Smith, Golden Delicious, Fuji, or Gala will work)
1 bottle of Pinot Grigio
½ cup of Disaronno (or any other Amaretto)
1 cup apple cider
1 lemon, sliced
1 orange, sliced
2 bottles of ginger beer
Combine ingredients into pitcher and let chill overnight for optimal flavor
#3. Whiskey Sour Punch
3 cups Bourbon
2 cups Simply Orange Juice
1 cup water
3 large lemons, juiced
½ cup simple syrup
1 orange, sliced
Combine ingredients over ice and garnish each glass with orange slice.
#4. Pumpkin Spiced White Russian Punch
2 cups Vodka
½ cup Vanilla Vodka
1/2 cup Kahlua
1 cup Pumpkin Spice Coffee Creamer
Combine all ingredients over ice, immediately don Ugg boots.
#5. Champagne For My Real Friends Punch
2 cups Vodka
½ cup St. Germaine
2 cups Pomegranate Juice
1 Bottle Champagne
For an extra fancy touch, add pomegranate seeds into ice cube trays. You’ll be glad you had a little extra water to cut this particular mix, it’s a boozy one.
