Rowans Creek history
Another fun kentucky bourbon history lesson
Clearly we’re getting into a lot of the more lesser known, less talked-about alcohol now. Since I myself have never heard of, or tasted, Rowans Creek. But luckily, there seems to be plenty to learn about it depending on where you look online. And, as bit of a liquor history buff myself, I feel obligated to find out as much as I can. Here’s a bit of what I learned:
Rowans Creek history
This is another one of those Kentucky bourbons with a good long history behind it. This one starts along time ago, way back in the late 1700’s. Back then, there was a statesman in Kentucky named John Rowan, who was said to have a really nice house. And it’s his name that the name for the infamous. And, completing the end of the line, the bourbon was named Rowan’s Creek because of the fact that the Kentucky Bourbon Distillers distillery happens t have the creek running right through it’s grounds. The Rowans Creek history looks interesting so far!
The water that is used for the bourbon is filtered by using limestone. It’s ages for twelve years (that’s a LONG time!) and then bottled at a whopping 50.5 percent alcohol by volume! Those who have tasted it claim that there’s a slight aftertaste of pine nuts.

Once your order is placed, then we can have one ready for you. You will, of course, need to let us at Saucey know what the date and time of your event is.
