We’ve all had our share of countless nightmares from films like The Raft to The Shining. If you’re a huge classic horror movies junkie and all it has to offer, you’re going to love these Stephen King inspired cocktails. With Halloween around the corner, nothing’s better than pairing our favorite horror movies ever written with a drink to take the edge off. You’re going to need it.
RED RUM
Ingredients:
2 oz Bacardi Superior Rum
1 oz Rose’s Grenadine Syrup
2 1/2 oz orange juice
Add all ingredients and ice into shaker. Shake well and pour into collins glass.
CARRIE
Ingredients:
1 oz Bulleit Rye Whiskey
3 oz Angostura bitters
2 oz Orgeat
1 1/2 oz lemon juice
1 large egg white
Add all ingredients and ice into shaker. Shake well and pour into two cocktail coupes.
PENNYWISE SHOT
Ingredients:
1 oz Casamigos Tequila Silver
1 oz Pomegranate or Strawberry Liqueur
Shake with ice and strain into a shot glass. Enjoy the blood bath.
CHILDREN OF THE CORN
Ingredients:
2 oz Effen Black Cherry Vodka
4 oz Ginger Ale
1 tsp Grenadine
Fill collins glass with ice. Pour vodka over ice and top with ginger ale. Pour grenadine. Garnish with maraschino cherry. Enjoy this Dirty Shirley.
THE MIST
Ingredients:
1 oz Germain Robin Coast Brandy
0.5 oz Bailey’s Espresso Coffee Liqueur
0.5 oz Hennessy V.S. Cognac
Pour into a shot glass. Cheers.
