5 Amazing Caramel Cocktails You Don’t Want to Miss

If you’re as excited as we are that Fall has finally arrived, then you probably need to a cool it a little. Really though, we’re pretty worked up about Fall. Why, you ask? Well, although Winter can be a total bummer, with all the cold, snow, and ice, Fall is our last chance for freedom. Our last chance to truly enjoy the outdoors without the cold stinging your face, burning your lungs, or forcing you to pack an extra pair of socks.
Fall is the precursor to Winter hibernation, AKA the best part. If you’re familiar with how animals hibernate (or at least cartoon bears), then you know it involves excessive eating and drinking, before curling up in a darkened cave somewhere to snuggly wait out the harsh winter. Honestly, this sounds like a great idea to us.
Animals usually have to go out and forage for their pre-hibernation needs, but you’re definitely smarter than a bear, right? You can have all of your Fall hibernation-needs delivered directly to your door; no need to waste time in lines at the grocery store or standing next to that guy who may-or-may-not-have showered this decade at the liquor store down the street.
Saucey has all of your drink-needs covered, and we’ve even compiled a list of amazing caramel flavored drinks you have to try this Fall. Because, let’s face it, you’re going to need something stronger than a picnic basket full of sandwiches to make it through the Winter.

1. Caramel Apple Martini

First up, is a real Autumn extravaganza. A martini made with Pinnacle Caramel Apple Vodka, is sure to satisfy your Fall cravings.  Every bottle of Pinnacle Vodka starts with the finest wheat grain from France. It’s distilled five times to ensure an incredibly clean, smooth taste. According to Pinnacle, it’s ‘everything you’d expect from premium vodka, but with none of the attitude and at a delightfully unexpected price’.

Pinnacle makes at least 30 different flavors of their premium vodka you can enjoy year round, but their Caramel Apple variety is quickly becoming a Fall staple. Although it’s great as a shot or on the rocks, we also found this really amazing Caramel Apple Martini recipe from The Blond Cook:

2. Caramel Comfort Float
Can you remember the last time you enjoyed a good, old-fashioned root beer float? Although it’s been a while, I enjoyed ice cream floats regularly as a kid. Cold, delicious, and creamy, traditional root beer floats are the perfect treat at the end of a warm summer night.
But why limit ourselves? We could create an ice cream float for every season, starting with a Caramel Southern Comfort Float for Fall.
Southern Comfort has been bringing us their uniquely “smooth-drinking whiskey” for over 140 years, and the addition of caramel has only made the drink even smoother going down. The creamy sweetness of caramel, with the smooth blend of Southern Comfort, creates a Fall drink good enough to be enjoyed on its own or on the rocks. But, everything is better a la mode, so we’ve found this awesome recipe for an adult ice cream float you don’t want to miss out on this Fall.

If you’re a fan of drinking at brunch (who isn’t), then you’re in luck. You might be used to classic brunch drinks like a Bloody Mary or a Mimosa, but we’ve got a lead on the best alcoholic drink for a Fall brunch. Whether you’re on your way to celebrate pre-game for your favorite team or just need that extra boost to get you through your long list of weekend chores, you can enjoy this easy-to-make drink from the comfort of your own robe or out with friends.
Ok, if we’re being honest, combining Bailey’s and coffee isn’t exactly news to anyone, but it’s so good. Bailey’s is a perfect blend of fresh, premium quality Irish dairy cream, various spirits, Irish whiskey, and a hint of chocolate. It already sounds pretty good, but throw in a perfectly balanced hint of smooth, creamy caramel and our mouths are really watering. Combine Bailey’s Irish Cream Salted Caramel with your favorite freshly brewed coffee for a real Autumn morning treat. Or, create an iced coffee drink better than Starbuck’s… or at least with more alcohol.
