J.P. Wiser’s history
I’ve never heard of this one; should be fun!
Having only lived in Canada for a couple years now, I’m still getting used to everything that’s different. Whoever said that it’s pretty much the same as the USA, you are full of it. The milk is different, the maple syrup is different, and the drinks are different!
I don’t get to buy whiskey that often, so I have yet to personally try this one. But, just from glancing at their website, I’m already pretty impressed with J.P. Wiser’s history. And I can’t wait to talk more about it!
J.P. Wiser’s history
According to their own website, this whiskey started with J.P. Wiser himself. He was barrelling whiskey back in 1857, before Canada even had it’s name! He lived in the well-known province of Ontario which, for all you Americans out there, is essentially the hub for all of Canada. Their website states that Wiser made the decision to age his whiskey for longer than other whiskey manufacturers that were around. And to this day, J.P. Wiser’s is Canada’s oldest continually-produced whiskey.
By the 1900’s, Wiser was exporting his delicious whiskey all over the world then. Sadly, Wiser died in 1911, and the company had a hard time staying on it’s feet afterward. Today, it’s owned by Corby Spirit and Wine.

Unfortunately, you can only use this service if you’re 21 or over. Saucey is very careful about making sure we operate within the parameters of the law. ID checks are necessary for every single delivery. Your delivery person will use a scanner to check your driver’s license, passport, or state-issued ID card. Your delivery will be given to you once your age has been verified via identification scan. Once that’s done, now you’re ready to drink your whiskey. And now that you know the J.P. Wiser’s History, you’ll appreciate it more!

If you happen to need a bartender as well as someone to deliver your order, then read on! If you go on over to our bartender’s page, you’ll find that we can easily help out with that. Once your order is placed, then we can have one ready for you. You will, of course, need to let us at Saucey know what the date and time of your event is. We also must have a head count for the number of guests you intend to have.
Your bartender(s) will arrive thirty minutes before your planned event in order to set things up. Saucey can provide up to six bartenders at any given time. They can make multiple different recipes for your occasion. And if you want, you can teach the J.P. Wiser’s History at your party!
Is there a delivery fee?
You’ll like this part: No! At Saucey we don’t do the whole delivery fee thing. We prefer to keep pricing as simplified and easy as possible. We like it better that way, and so do our customers.
