July Fourth: Beer’s Holiday

Because nothing says, “Let’s celebrate America!” quite like a cold beer.

Whether your go-to is an IPA, a lager, a pale ale, etc., one thing’s for sure: Americans love their beer – especially when celebrating our independence. So much so that every year, beer lovers spend more on this holiday (around $800 million) than they do for both the Super Bowl and Memorial day. Here’s a list of our favorite beers to stock up on this Fourth of July holiday.

Founder’s All Day IPA

An all-day IPA naturally brewed with a complex array of malts, grains and hops. Balanced for optimal aromatics and a clean finish. With a hint of tangerine, grapefruit and mango, the All Day IPA is the great way to beat the Fourth of July heat – and what reminds you more of our independence than its name?

Samuel Adams Boston Lager

This Fourth, reacquaint yourself with this classic; a great beer with full, rich flavor that just screams patriotism.

21st Amendment Blah Blah Blah IPA

21st Amendment — Need I say more?

Ballast Point Grunion Pale Ale

This San Diego pale ale won gold at the 2014 Great American Beer Festival…key word, American. This is a great beer to drink on its own or with some all-American burgers and fries.

Bell’s Oberon Ale

This American pale wheat ale is a perfect summer beer; light with tons of flavor, this beer goes perfectly with an orange slice.

Speakeasy Prohibition Ale

Prohibition Ale is an amber hue with hints of grapefruit, citrus, and candied caramel malts, among other things. This ale pairs perfectly with all things BBQ, so it’s a must have this Fourth of July.

Firestone Union Jack

An American Classic, Union Jack’s Firestone IPA is a great combination of malt balanced with grapefruit, tangerine and pine. And the fact that this IPA comes from one of the most decorated American breweries doesn’t hurt either.
