From 9/18-9/24, it’s officially Negroni Week. That means you not only have ample inspiration to mix up one of these all-time classic cocktails, but you’ll be supporting a good cause while you’re at it: Aviation Gin is donating $50,000 to Slow Food USA, an organization working to promote greater equity and sustainability in food.
In 2013 Imbibe Magazine launched Negroni Week as a celebration of one of the world’s great cocktails and an effort to raise money for charitable causes around the world. Since then, Negroni Week has grown from about 120 participating venues to thousands of venues worldwide. To date, the initiative has raised over $3m for charitable organizations, with this year’s funds going to the International Slow Food movement.
To help celebrate Negroni Week and support both Aviation Gin & Slow Food, we recommend mixing up an Aviation Gin Negroni.
How to Make an Aviation Gin Negroni
The Negroni is so popular for its deliciously simple combination of gin, bitter aperitivo liqueur, and vermouth. The Aviation Gin Negroni only looks to improve on the cocktail through high quality ingredients.
Aviation Gin prides itself on a meticulous production process to create a pure medley of botanical flavor. For a cocktail with only three ingredients, it’s paramount that every ingredient can shine. Aviation will have no problem taking the gin spotlight.
