Washington Apple recipe
This is a fun little drink to either make for yourself, or to mix for other people at a party. It’s great for any season, though it’s especially good for summer or fall. Personally, I’ve always enjoyed it more in the fall, when fresh apples are readily available (not that you need them for this. Anyways, here’s your Washington Apple recipe!
1 oz Canadian whisky (such as Crown Royal)
1 oz sour apple schnapps
1 oz cranberry juice
Optimal glass for drinking: coupe
To make the Washington Apple recipe, you’re going to throw all the ingredients listed above into a shaker filled with ice. Shake it up good, then strain it out into your glass. Garnish your drink with a slice of fresh apple (my favorite one to use is a macintosh. This is because of it’s wonderful sour/sweet balance.)
